摘要
本研究从译者行为批评理论视域出发，分析杨宪益与戴乃迭《醉翁亭记》英译本中的译者行为。研究发现：在语言形式与意境层面，译者力求“求真”，再现原文美学特质；在文化负载项处理上，译者倾向“务实”，确保读者理解。这种平衡行为既彰显了译者作为“文化协调者”的主体性，也深受二十世纪后期中国文学外译使命的影响。该译本为典籍外译提供了有效范式。

Abstract
From the perspective of Translator Behavior Criticism, this paper analyzes the translator behavior in Yang Xianyi and Gladys Yang’s English translation of The Roadside Hut of the Old Drunkard. The study finds that the translators strive for “truth-seeking” in linguistic form and literary conception while tending toward “utility-attaining” in handling culture-loaded terms to ensure reader comprehension. This dynamic equilibrium both embodies the translators’ role as cultural mediators and is deeply influenced by the mission of introducing Chinese literature abroad in the late 20th century. Their translation offers a valid paradigm for rendering Chinese classics.
